He holds an MBA from the Pakistan Institute of Management and a postgraduate degree in Career and Work Counseling from George Brown Canada.

In Canada, Ali has collaborated with numerous private and publicly funded organizations, significantly contributing to programs by the Ministry of Training and Colleges, Employment Ontario, United Way, and esteemed companies such as IBM Canada, Celestica Canada, Crosslinx Transit Solutions, Mother Parker Tea and Coffee, among others.
