Dr. Basharat Javed

Dr. Basharat Javed is serving as an Associate Professor at Al-Ghazali University and Director at the GU Tech Executive Learning Center (GELC). Prior to joining Al Ghazali, he offered his services as an Associate Professor and Head of the Al-Qadir Learning and Development Center (ALDC). He also served as an Assistant Professor at Namal University and was the Head of the Namal Executive Development Center (NEDC) for over six years.

 

Dr. Basharat is one of the finest corporate trainers in the country and holds extensive practical experience in the Human Resource Management (HRM) sector of Pakistan. While at Namal, he served as the Head of the Department for Human Resource Management and significantly contributed towards social services by launching and overseeing many projects for the betterment of impoverished communities. As the Patron of the Namal Society of Social Impact (NSSI), he organized projects such as accessibility of education to all, blood donation drives, emergency medical services, and women empowerment projects.

 

Dr. Basharat earned his PhD in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior from the Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. The topic of his research thesis was “The Positive Psychological States and Innovative Work Behavior: The Role of Inclusive/Relational Leadership”. He conducted this research on small, capitalized textile firms in Pakistan.

 

He has conducted various highly rated and successful training sessions on the topics of Professional Work Ethics, Personality and Leadership Styles, Strategy Championship, and Team Building for companies like NTC, FFBL, Millat Equipment and Millat Tractor Limited, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission-PAEC, Interloop Limited, Meezan Bank, TECH Packs, and Softwood. He has also delivered various trainings at renowned universities across Pakistan, including the University of Poonch Rawalakot, Islamia Bahawalpur University, and University of Kotli, among others.

 

Dr. Basharat has more than 20 research publications in journals like the Journal of Creative Behavior, Journal of Management & Organization, Current Issues in Tourism, Personnel Review, Journal of Psychology, Interdisciplinary, and Applied Asia Pacific Business Review, Business Ethics: A European Review, Review of Public Personnel Administration, the Journal of Social Psychology, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, and IEEE Transaction on Engineering Management. Throughout his career, he has left an enduring mark on both the corporate and academic spheres, making a profound impact on the education industry.
