Highlights of Chancellor Meeting with JTR Tajir Sarparast Shoora at GU TECH
The JTR Tajir Sarparast Shoora visited GU TECH to explore its model and programs. Chancellor Mufti Abdul Raheem outlined GU Tech’s vision, with highlights on Al Ghazali, GU TECH, and GELC. Dr. Rauf Shams Ahmed Malik and Mr. Tehsin discussed the Computer Science and Business programs, while Mr. Zeeshan from admissions shared insights. The event was informative and well-received, with many attendees interested in enrolling their children at GU TECH.
GU TECH & KPMG Sign Memorandum of Understanding
On August 16, 2024, GU TECH, Al Ghazali University School of Technology, and KPMG officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant partnership. KPMG agreed to work with Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC) at Department of Computer Science to solve the digital transformation and AI related industrial problems.

GU TECH (Ghazali University School of Technology) hosted a session on Sunday, 7th July, to introduce the Masters of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance program to the Jamia Tur Rasheed alumni working in various financial organizations in Pakistan. The alumni appreciated the program and showed full commitment to promoting it within their circles. Their valuable suggestions will help enhance the MS Islamic Banking and Finance program and its outreach.

RCCI Delegation Explores Collaborative
Ventures with Al-Ghazali University
The President, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Mr. Saqib Rafiq, led a delegation to meet with the Chancellor Al-Ghazali University, Mufti Abdul Raheem expressing a keen interest in collaborating to support startups and explore business opportunities. The Chancellor appreciated RCCI's initiative and highlighted the university’s commitment to contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem through research and practical training programs. As a gesture of gratitude, the Chancellor presented a commemorative shield to the delegation, symbolizing the start of a promising partnership that aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

During his visit, he had a productive discussion with the Chancellor on ways to integrate GU TECH's programs with industry needs. The meeting was also attended by Pro Chancellor Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed and Campus Director GU TECH, Dr. Sajid Bashir.

The Chancellor Al Ghazali University visits Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce
& Industry (FPCCI), Islamabad
On May 17th, 2024, Mufti Abdul Rahim, the Chancellor Al Ghazali University, visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) in Islamabad. During his visit, he met with Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh, the President of the Chamber. The primary focus of their meeting was to explore potential collaborations between Al Ghazali University and the FPCCI, particularly through training opportunities provided by the
Al Ghazali Executive Learning Centre (GELC). Mr. Sheikh commended the Chancellor's vision for the future of higher education in Pakistan and expressed optimism that Al Ghazali University would bring about a positive transformation in society. Accompanying the Chancellor were Dr. Basharat Javed, Director GELC, and Maulana Usman Yousaf.
The Chancellor Al Ghazali University meets the Chairman HEC
On May 16th, 2024 the Chancellor Al Ghazali University, Mufti Abdul Raheem, paid a visit to the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad where he had a meeting with the Chairman, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed. Various matters including revamping system of education and curriculum and role of HEC in developing youth in Pakistan, were discussed. The Chairman praised vision of AlGhazali University and expressed his gratitude to the Chancellor for the visit.
Al Ghazali University receives HEC approval for MS Program Launch
We are delighted to announce that the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has officially granted Al Ghazali University the “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” to inaugurate our Master of Science (MS Islamic Banking and Finance) Program, slated to commence in Fall 2024!

Mufti Ehsan Waqar, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Sajid Bashir, Campus Director, attended the Opening Plenary and Inaugural session of the Pakistan – UK Vice-Chancellors Forum at the HEC Auditorium in Islamabad. Distinguished speakers included HEC Chairperson, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, UK International Education Champion, Sir Steve Smith, Director of Education at the British Council, Maddalaine Ansell, British High Commissioner, Jane Marriot, and HEC Executive Director, Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum.

We were honored to host distinguished guests from leading business schools in Islamabad at Al Ghazali University! The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor had a productive meeting with Deans and HoDs, including representatives from the International Islamic University, Riphah International University, Foundation University, and Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST).
